Certified Manufacturing, Inc. (CMI ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Wayne Bernheisel as Vice President/General Manager. This appointment comes in response to continued growth at CMI, and a concerted effort to add management depth and experience as the company moves forward.
Wayne is a talented, successful, results oriented executive with over 16 plus years of experience building and leading successful teams and organizations. Wayne is a proven strategic leader with rare abilities in both growth campaigns and change management. He possesses excellent business acumen and proven ability to lead organizations through change, streamlining, and business improvement. Wayne has maintained a stellar track record leading turnarounds in manufacturing, engineering, and service organizations. He believes that success is the result of developing and executing a business plan achieving maximum shareholder value and establishing new cultures.
Wayne spent over 11 years (1998-2009) in progressively increasing management roles with Rolls-Royce Corporation, the last four as Director of Naval Marine Services. During that same period he served for six years (1994-2000) as a Captain in the United States Air Force (USAF), his last assignment as the F-16 Financial Lead. From 2009 to mid 2011 Wayne was the Business Director for the Crane Electronics, Inc., in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, responsible for site P&L.
Wayne received his AAS degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from the University of Cincinnati in 1985. He received his BS degree in Business from the University of Toledo in 1991. He was selected to attend and earned his MS in Cost Analysis from the Air Force’s premier acquisitions school at the Institute of Technology in 1997.
