CMI congratulates
employees Nettie Davenport, Bill Newton and Dan Polk on their recent certification for successful completion of
Emory University’s Six Sigma Green Belt Program sponsored by the University of West Florida’s training solutions
and continuing education program. Certified Manufacturing is appreciative of the University of West Florida’s Continuing
Education organization for there involvement in the Small Business Environment and our local community. Certified Manufacturing
is pleased to announce that a team has already been enrolled in the upcoming “Lean Manufacturing” training event
scheduled for this fall.
For
the second straight year and third time overall, CMI has been
awarded Boeing's coveted Gold Performance Excellence Award. The Boeing Company issues the award
annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. CMI maintained a Gold
composite (Quality/Delivery) performance rating for each month of the twelve month performance
period , from Oct. 1, 2010, to Sept. 30, 2011.
